[He'd been captured after he'd seen Bucky and Ben running. He was damned if he was going to let his best friend get captured by hostiles for a second time. The same went for Tony, too, though it was mostly unconscious and a sense of vague worry that had sent Steve out looking for him in the first place.

He is here, though, and coherent enough to make an entry -- though he is bruised, slightly bloodied and covered in dirt. Usually the sort of thing that heals easily enough normally, but this place? Is hardly normal.]

Looks like they've gotten a good number of us. Who's with me on figuring a way out of here? I think they want to make me fight, probably.

[Then, there's a slightly tight smile.] Don't give up hope yet. I'm good at unexpected escape attempts, and I will get every last one of you out of here even if I have to do it myself.

[Bucky looks more or less about the same as Steve, in terms of minor injuries and dirt. He's sort of glaring at him, but more because he's mad about their situation and frustrated with Ben completely flipping out and being an ass - not that it was really his fault - than at Steve.

But he's taken this moment to lineface at you. :|]

[Bucky just gets a very slight grin.] When have you or I ever listened to that advice?

[Bucky doesn't grin back. He's still too hyped up and frustrated to joke right now, and there's a lingering sense of how he should have been able to protect Steve from this, instead of getting captured and getting him into hot water, too.]

[It's hard to see on Jesse's end, because he's got the communicator up close against his face, skewed so he can whisper into it; but from what is visible, it's clear he's hurt. His mouth is bloody, his cheek is cut and swollen badly, one tooth looks broken -- and there's something wrong with his voice, or his breathing, because it comes out hoarse and wheezy.

But in his heart, Jesse is a boy who loves his comic books, and though he's been keeping his distance from Steve, there's hope in his eyes now.]

Yo, they-- they've got some of us chained up out here. [He shifts awkwardly to hold up his shackled wrists.] But I figure this is-- this is like-- a sci-fi universe, right? like there must be lasers around. Or-- or there's this stuff called termite. Thermite. It breaks locks. There must be all kinds of shit somewhere... I was trying to look, but...

I'll be keeping an eye out. [He rolls his shoulders a little, with a slight wince.] I'm not at 100% quite yet, but if they want me to fight, they've gotta give me weapons, right?

[Ben failed to notice that Steve had done anything remotely like try to help them, but then, he hadn't been capable of noticing much at the time of his capture. He's simmered down some since, though emotions are still running high enough that he pretty much just hates everyone and everything and wants them to stay away from him.

Talking, though, is one of the things he does seem willing to do, perhaps surprisingly. He hadn't been all that chatty on the Barge and when he did speak, it was pretty much without fail in a militarily respectful way.

This is not the Barge, and this is not Manticore, and this is not the military.]
