I'm sorry about -- uh, well. Not knowing you. Apparently floods do that. But I'll do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again. We should talk, in any case, and I'm pretty sure I owe you a dance, if you don't mind it being a bit delayed.

[Well, with his hands on her waist, she does not intend on moving away at all.

Her fingers clenched at the fabric at his shoulders.]

Maybe we should go to the gardens. More privacy.

[Peggy takes a deep breath and glances back at him, nodding. In order for them to walk, she has to pull away, no matter how reluctant it is.]

Yes. That was the plan, wasn't it?

Yeah. It'll be easier to talk there, anyway. [This is a smile that is somewhere in between awkward and sheepish.]
