log 001
[There is the sound of buttons being a bit haphazardly mashed, and some slight shuffling. Eventually, there is a quiet 'oh', and the video flickers to life and reveals a handsome young man, dressed in a tight-fitting t-shirt and sweat pants.]
Sorry, folks, I'm still trying to figure out how things work around here. [He gives a little sheepish smile and ducks his head, before glancing back to the camera.] Uh. Hello, I'm Captain Steve Rogers. Some of you might know me as Captain America. I'm from Brooklyn, New York, and I was told that you could use my help up here.
There's not -- a lot for me to do at home right now, so here I am. [A little pause.] Though if anyone could catch me up on -- current events, back home, it'd be appreciated.

Chief Stildyne, formerly Chief Warrant Officer of the Jurisdiction Fleet Ship Ragnarok, currently just 'Chief' out of habit.
I'm not from a time near the majority of the barge and I don't know where Earth is specifically; it's been a few tens of thousands of years, at best guess, and the Core's got quite a few colonized worlds. Can't help there, but if you're lacking help to get settled onto the barge I'm available.
[From the look of the man's communications braid already there's no lack of help, but the offer is polite. He'll pack up his bitter a bit and try to act like he works here. It's his job. And hell but would you look at the man.]

[A little bit of a smile.] That's a little hard to believe, if you'll pardon the saying, but -- I've seen a lot of things that are hard to believe, lately.

I'd nearly suspect you don't believe me.

It'll help. Though if the barge is kind enough to spare you the worst of it all, the better for it.

Hopefully it will be.
