[Steve is pacing the hallways today, looking rather -- tired, to say the least. He sounds it, too, though mostly it's an overabundance of worry.]

--Hello to any new people I might have missed arriving, and, uh, welcome to the Barge. The best advice I can give you is be prepared for anything. --Which, yeah, does sound a bit cheesy, but it's true. Anyhow, I'm Captain Steve Rogers, and it's nice to have you all on board. If you ever want to say hello, I'm generally around the gym.

Seems like Tony's been drinking a lot lately. ...More than usual, I mean. Tell me I'm not just worrying needlessly, huh? [Sorry, Charles, but he doesn't have Eddie to hover over right now and all that worry has to go somewhere.]

((OOC: Feel free to run into Steve while he's wandering. He'll be returning to the infirmary eventually, just to play guard dog, but, uh, yeah.))

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. What is it with you hero-types and your need to keep going until you drop? [She's been gently lecturing Dick, too. Does she have to be the Barge mom now?]

Sometimes being too tired to think has its good points.

[She shoves her hands in her pockets, nodding a little. Whatever Ivy did to Edward Blake, must've been pretty horrific.

She doesn't want to know.]

I can understand that. And maybe... not wanting to sleep.

[He wouldn't tell her if she asked, anyway.]

Funny thing about having the serum. I don't need a lot of sleep.

I haven't seen you around the art room much, lately. [Only sort of a change of subject.]

I've been keeping an eye on Blake. Still sketching, though, just -- down in Zero.

Not exactly the best environment for it, but you do what you gotta do, I guess. [The Barge in general isn't exactly the best environment for much of anything, really.]

Drop by sometime, when you need a breather. I like to see what other people are working on.

Been worse places. [He rubs the back of his neck for a minute.]

I probably will, I don't have much to do while Blake's in the infirmary.
